Ri-Ai Beauty was born in Shillong, a place known for its natural beauty, creative spirit, and deep cultural roots. Inspired by the colours, landscapes, and quiet charm of the hills, we created Ri-Ai to bring a little piece of Shillong into your everyday beauty rituals.
In Khasi, “Ri” means “land” or “country,” while “Ai” means “to give.” Together, Ri-Ai reflects our desire to give beauty a sense of place — rooted in Shillong, inspired by our heritage, and made to be shared with you.
Ri-Ai began with a love for the little ways beauty allows you to express yourself — effortlessly, personally, and in a way that feels true to who you are.
Our story is rooted in the belief that beauty does not need to be complicated or used to hide who you are. It can be soft, playful, feminine, bold, or completely natural.
